Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty (born October 1st, 1995 on the streets of Berkeley California) is an actress. She is an American actress who has appeared in Choices (2010) as well as The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004).
Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family which includes directors and actors, was also a professional. When she was nine when she began her acting debut in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. in 1988 she played the role of lead in Cristina Comencini's first feature film Zoo. She was also an integral part of Michele Soavi's acting cast for The Church. Following that, she played Nanni Moritti's daughter in Red Wood Pigeon. Her career took off when she landed the role of Nanni's girl in Close Friends. The film was highly acclaimed in the Cannes International Film Festival. Daria Nicholodi is one of the most beloved actresses of Argento and performed the part of an obese child who is looking for the killer. Asia's intense and absorbed acting style was put to good use in the film Condannato a nozze. Her role as Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista, which focuses on a physically disabled girl, was a difficult and intricate role, which won she the David di Donatello award for best actress. Her film debut was a part in Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau. The role she played was in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio with Michel Piccoli in which she was awarded a David di Donatello along with a Grolla oro. Asia started her short film directing career in 1994. She also directed an episode for the movie De Generazione. 1996 saw her make a documentary along with the father of her. 1998 saw her direct AbelAsia on the famous director Abel Ferrara. This film was awarded a prize at the Rome Film Festival. Asia directed her debut feature film Scarlet Diva (1999), in which she was the main actress in the film and the author of its screenplay. The film was released in on May 1, 2000 in Italy in addition to around the globe. The film was awarded an award in the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
